 If you are like me, you use different computers in different locations and carry a laptop. It’s nice when your files are on all of the computers you use. It makes it very convenient to have your files on all of the computers you use. My favorite is Syncthing . Why? Because it works great, it’s open source, cross platform and your files are not on the cloud. Check out several ways to sync your files  

 Are you using CryptPad? CryptPad is an encryped open source alternative for Google Docs. If you are concerned about privacy of your documents you should consider using CryptPad. It is a good online suite for creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and all of the documents will be encrypted. Note that it is browser based however they say the encryption happens on the client side and is not on the cloud based server side.
